Privacy Policy

The controller of the personal data described here is Antonio González, an individual based in Chile, who operates drewvy.com ("Drewvy", "we"). Write to antonio@ticroom.cl about anything on this page.

• No sign-up, no account, no profile. We never ask for your name or email.
• Your images, cutouts, projects and your Gemini key stay in your browser. We never receive them.
• When you use an AI tool, your browser sends the image and prompt straight to Google with your own key.
• We count page views with a self-hosted, cookieless analytics tool (Umami).
• We do not sell data, show ads, or build profiles.

Page-view statistics

When a page loads, our Umami instance records the page address, the referring site, your browser, operating system and device type, screen size, language, and the country derived from your IP address. Your IP address is used only for that lookup and to form an anonymous visit identifier; it is not stored. Umami sets no cookies and does not follow you across other sites.

Purpose: to see which pages and tools are used so we can improve them. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running and improving the site. Retention: up to 25 months, after which the events are deleted. We honour your browser's Do Not Track setting, and you can switch statistics off on the Cookie Policy page.

Server logs

Like any web server, ours may briefly log technical request data (IP address, time, requested address, browser) to keep the site secure and working. These logs are kept for no more than 30 days and are not used for anything else. Legal basis: legitimate interest in security.

Messages you send us

If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and delete them when the conversation is over unless the law requires us to keep them.

These are stored by your browser, on your device. We cannot read them, and they are deleted when you clear this site's data:

• Your Gemini API key (localStorage "gemini-api-key"), only if you add one.
• Your saved images and projects (IndexedDB "drewvy-gallery").
• Small preferences: the AI model you picked, the background-removal device, whether you closed a banner, and your language (the "NEXT_LOCALE" cookie).

Anyone with access to your browser profile can read what is stored there, including your key. You can remove the key from the key dialog at any time, and delete or rotate it in Google AI Studio.

Some features make your browser talk to another company. Drewvy is not in the middle, so what they receive is governed by their own policies:

• Google (Gemini API), only when you run an AI tool: the image(s), your prompt, and your API key, plus your IP address. See Gemini API terms (opens in a new tab) and Google's Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab). On Google's free (unpaid) tier, Google may use what you submit to improve its products and people may review it, so do not submit sensitive or personal information there, including photos of other people without their consent. If you are in the EEA, Switzerland or the UK, use a key with billing enabled.
• jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net) and Hugging Face (huggingface.co), the first time you remove a background: your browser downloads the open-source image engine from jsDelivr and the background-removal model from Hugging Face, and both receive your IP address and standard request data. No image is sent; the cutout is made on your device.
• YouTube (img.youtube.com), only when you paste a YouTube link: it receives the video id and your IP address. See Google's Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).
• GitHub, only if you click the tip link: GitHub's Privacy Statement (opens in a new tab) applies there.

Our website and analytics run on a server rented from Hostinger in the United States.

Because our server is in the United States, and Google, GitHub, jsDelivr and Hugging Face operate internationally, the data described above may be processed outside your country, including in countries whose law may not offer the same protection as Chile's or the EU's. We keep what reaches us to the minimum above; transfers to Google, jsDelivr, Hugging Face, YouTube and GitHub happen directly from your browser when you use those features.

Under Chile's personal data law (Ley 19.628, as amended by Ley 21.719) you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure (supresión), objection (oposición), portability and blocking, and the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing. If the GDPR applies to you, you have the equivalent rights under it.

To use them, email antonio@ticroom.cl. We will answer within the time the law allows. Because we hold no account and almost nothing tied to you, we may not be able to find data about you; in that case we will tell you. Drewvy makes no automated decisions about you.

You can also complain to Chile's Agencia de Protección de Datos Personales, or to your local data protection authority if you are in the EU.

Drewvy is not directed at children. The AI tools require you to be 18 or older, because Google's Gemini API terms require it. We do not knowingly process data about children; if you think we have, write to us and we will delete it.

The site is served over HTTPS, and there is no image server that could leak your pictures. No method is perfect, so keep your browser and device secure, and never share your API key.

When this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so on the site.
